A Running Joke

Kate Owen is one of Leicester's slowest and fattest distance runners.
She has, despite an indulgent lifestyle, managed to complete any number of races, including half-marathons, consistently finishing at the back and having gone a funny colour. She even did a triathlon once, but the less said about that the better.
Her aim, as Leicester Comedy Festival’s Running Joke (do you see what we did there?), is to cover a double marathon distance (52.4 miles) over the course of the festival, visiting every venue during a show. Sponsorship money will go to the Festival's chosen causes, Amnesty and Prostaid
